In 1992, Richard James took the menswear stage with an aim to create a luxury brand with a contemporary mindset. What the brand actually did was much bigger. Richard James became the first of the “New Establishment” tailors on the legendary Savile Row. By recognizing and respecting the storied street’s traditions, and adding an progressive eye for the individual, Richard James spearheaded the movement revitalizing one of the world’s most famous menswear locales. Today, Richard James continues to work with carefully selected mills, exclusive fabrics, and artisan craftsmen to create updated classics that carry on the legacy of the brand’s Savile Row home.
