About the Designer
Ranger Station is headed by twin brothers Steve and Jon Soderholm, but it was originally cooked up by Steve while he traveled the world as a touring musician. During breaks at home, Steve found candlemaking to be an absorbing, creative way to occupy himself—and apparently he was very good at it. As demand for his handmade candles grew, he asked Jon to come on board as well, and that’s how the Ranger Station candle company began. The Soderholms no longer pour their candles in a garage, but the same adventurous spirit remains at the foundation of the brand, and it's best put as the brothers themselves would say it: “Find what ignites you.” (And maybe light a Ranger Station candle to brighten your way.)
