About the Designer
For more than 100 years, Superga has been on a mission to bring high-quality shoes to the people of Italy and around the world. In 1911, Walter Martiny started producing shoes with vulcanized rubber soles and launched the 2750, the shoe that would become the mainstay of the brand. Since then, Superga sneakers have been dressed up, dressed down, and paired with just about any outfit. Their focus on comfort and commitment to fun has made this brand a go-to shoe for everyone in the know.
quality issues
I've had these shoes for three weeks. Worn them fewer than ten times. Already the sole is coming away at the toe.
They're great shoes; look wonderful and fit well. But having the sole pull away after two weeks (!!!) is absurd.

This has been a great sneaker that gets regular rotation. I wear these with denim or chinos with a tee up top or even a button down. They work well every time.
A note on fit: I sized down a full size based on a friend's recommendation and they hit just before the end of my big toe (sock-less). If I add socks they rub just a bit as my foot flexes while walking, but no real discomfort. If I hadn't bought these on Final Sale I would have exchanged for half size down instead. So, in all, they fit large and sizing down is recommended.
I've had them more than six months and they're holding up very well with no separation between upper and sole, which I regularly see on many sneakers. I will definitely purchase again.

Superga 2070 Cotu Classic Sneakers
Superga Cotu Classiss are a great summer shoe and I love the silhouette. Although being a great shoe they are awkward on your feet at first and take a few outings to get use to.

Always classic
You can't go wrong with a pair of Supergas. For me, they're a spring/summer shoe, but I couldn't pass up a great deal for a pair since my old ones were pretty beaten up. I size up a half size for comfort in these. I typically wear a 42, US9 in all fashion shoes and boots, but I go to a 42.5 in these.
Anyway: They look good with shorts, swim trunks, slim jeans, or chinos. I wear them all the time. They hold up pretty well too. I wore my last pair hard for about 3 springs and summers in a row before I finally tore up the insides of them a little too much.
